IMPORTANT NOTICE: This is meant to be a good-value travel experience trip, planned to find a right balance between adventure, nature, culture, shopping and even chill-out time. Having said that, travelers should still be relatively fit, with a good sense of humor, and above all, have the right attitude for close travel with others through possibly some trying times. Most definitely, this is not a trip for prudes, whiners, fuss-pots, and other similarly assorted types! We had a couple of those before and it wasn't pleasant for us or them.

Although every effort will be made to stick to the given itinerary, ground conditions may change and cause some disruption and/or deviation from the norm. Otherwise, have fun!


DAY 0 28th APRIL 2026 (TUE) KLIA T1 Gather KLIA Terminal 1 around 1155pm. 3 hours before our flight departure
DAY 1 – 29th APRIL 2026 (WED) KUALA LUMPUR → DOHA → BAKU
Our Qatar Airways flight QR4992 departing KUL-DOH (0205-0430) with 6hr transit in Doha. Our next flight QR353 departing DOH-GYD (1030-1420). On arrival Baku, airport transfer to hotel. Free and easy the rest of the day or to do own city exploration. Overnight Baku
DAY 2 – 30th APRIL 2026 (THU): BAKU CITY TOUR
After breakfast, explore the city highlights: Old City (Icherisheher), Shirvanshah Palace, Maiden Tower, and modern icons like the Flame Towers. Evening walk along the Caspian Sea Boulevard. Overnight in Baku (B)
DAY 3 – 01st MAY 2026 (FRI): BAKU – DIRI BABA – LAHIC – GABALA
Visit Diri Baba Mausoleum, the oldest mosque in the Caucasus, and the crafts village Lahıc (skip if heavy rain). In Gabala, ride the Tufandag Cable Car for mountain views. Overnight in Gabala (B)
DAY 4 – 02nd MAY 2026 (SAT): GABALA – SHEKI
Drive to Sheki, tour the stunning Sheki Khan Palace and the old Caravansarai. Overnight in Sheki (B)
DAY 5 – 03rd MAY 2026 (SUN): SHEKI – GANJA
Head to Ganja. Highlights: Bottle House, Shah Abbas Mosque, and lively Cavad Khan Street. Overnight in Ganja (B)


DAY 6 – 04th MAY 2026 (MON): GANJA – BORDER CROSSINGS – YEREVAN
A long drive: cross from Azerbaijan → Georgia → Armenia. Continue to Yerevan. Overnight in Yerevan (B)
DAY 7 – 05th MAY 2026 (TUE): YEREVAN CITY TOUR
Morning city tour of Republic Square, Cascade Complex, Opera House, and Vernissage Market. Free and easy evening. Overnight in Yerevan(B)
DAY 8 – 06th MAY 2026 (WED): GARNI & GEGHARD → YEREVAN
Excursion to Garni Temple and the natural wonder Symphony of Stones. If time allows, see Geghard Monastery. Overnight in Yerevan (B)
DAY 9 – 07th MAY 2026 (THU): YEREVAN – ECHMIADZIN – KHOR VIRAP – HERMON
Visit Echmiadzin Cathedral, Khor Virap Monastery (view of Mt. Ararat), and Areni-1 Cave. Drive to Hermon. Overnight in Hermon (B)
DAY 10 – 08th MAY 2026 (FRI): HERMON – LAKE SEVAN – DILIJAN
Via Selim Pass with Orbeliani Caravansarai, visit Noratus Cemetery, and the lakeside Sevanavank Monastery. End in Dilijan. Overnight in Dilijan (B)
DAY 11 – 09th MAY 2026 (SAT): DILIJAN – HAGHPAT – TELAVI
Morning at Haghpat Monastery (UNESCO). Cross into Georgia, drive to Telavi in wine country. Overnight in Telavi (B)
DAY 12 – 10th MAY 2026 (SUN): TELAVI & PANKISI VALLEY
Short walking tour of Telavi, visit a local winery, then explore Pankisi Valley. Overnight in Telavi (B)


DAY 13 – 11th MAY 2026 (MON): TELAVI – GUDAURI – KAZBEGI
Scenic drive along the Georgian Military Highway. Stops at Zhinvali Reservoir, Ananuri Fortress, and Gudauri viewpoint. Overnight in Kazbegi (B)
DAY 14 – 12th MAY 26 (TUE): KAZBEGI
Hike/drive to the Gergeti Trinity Church, visit Dariali Monastery near the Russian border. Overnight in Kazbegi (B)
DAY 15 – 13th MAY 2026 (WED): KAZBEGI – UPLISTSIKHE – MTSKHETA – TBILISI
Drive to Uplistsikhe Cave Town and Stalin Museum in Gori. Later visit Jvari Monastery & Svetitskhoveli Cathedral in Mtskheta. Overnight in Tbilisi (B)
DAY 16 – 14th MAY 2026 (THU): TBILISI WALKING TOUR
Enjoy Tbilisi on foot: Old Town, Narikala Fortress, sulfur baths, Peace Bridge, Rustaveli Avenue. Overnight in Tbilisi (B)
DAY 17 – 15th MAY 2026 (FRI): TBILISI FREE & EASY
A relaxed day for shopping, café hopping, or revisit Mtskheta if missed earlier. Overnight in Tbilisi (B)
DAY 18 – 16th MAY 2026 (SAT) DEPARTURE – TBILISI → DOHA → KUALA LUMPUR
Free and easy morning, early afternoon, transfer to airport for our flight Qatar Airways QR256 departing Tbilisi, TBS-DOH (1545-1800) Transit in Doha for 1h15m. Continue with our next flight QR844 DOH-KUL (1915-0755+1) - ARRIVING KUALA LUMPUR 0755AM ON 17th MAY 2026 (SUN)
